White’s Organic Jumbo Oats Whiskey Porridge Recipe


Try this indulgent and warming breakfast porridge recipe. The perfect breakfast to start your St. Patrick's day celebrations. 

Ingredients

  • 30g of White’s Organic Jumbo Oats
  • 250mls of milk or water
  • 25mls of cream
  • Measure of Irish whiskey
  • Brown sugar to top according to taste

Method

Microwave:

  • Place 30g of White’s Organic Jumbo Oats into a saucepan
  • Add 250mls of milk or water and stir.
  • Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for approximately 7 minutes until all the liquid has absorbed, stirring occasionally:
  • Remove from heat, and allow to stand for 1 minute

St Patrick’s Day serving suggestion:

  • Serve porridge in a breakfast bowl
  • Add 25mls of cream and a measure of Irish whiskey to bowl
  • Add brown sugar to top according to taste
