Whiskey Porridge

Try this indulgent and warming breakfast porridge recipe. The perfect start to a chilly, winter morning.
  • 30g (1oz) of White’s Organic Jumbo Oats
  • 250mls of milk or water
  • 25mls of cream
  • Measure of Irish whiskey
  • Brown sugar to top according to taste

Place 30g of White’s Organic Jumbo Oats into a saucepan and add 250mls of milk or water and stir. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for approximately 7 minutes until all the liquid has absorbed, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat, and allow to stand for 1 minute.

Serve porridge in a breakfast bowl. Add 25mls of cream and a measure of Irish whiskey to the bowl. Add brown sugar to top according to taste.
