Overnight Chocolate & Orange Oats

Overnight oats make such a tasty and versatile breakfast. There are so many flavour combinations to try out, and you can make it vegan, sugar-free or gluten-free. They take just a few minutes to mix up in the evening for the next day or you could make a batch to last for a few days. Enjoy your hearty, creamy oats straight from the fridge, or slightly warmed if you prefer.

This recipe uses White’s Organic Jumbo Oats, which are high in fibre and low in saturated fats, making them a really healthy start to your day. In this recipe, we have topped our oats with White’sToasted Oats to add a tasty texture.

Ingredients

  • 50g Yoghurt – options to suit your taste – Greek, natural, almond, coconut or soya
  • 50g White’s Organic Jumbo Oats
  • 120ml Milk – semi skimmed or plant-based
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • Zest and juice of ½ orange
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons White’s Toasted Oats
  • 1 orange – sliced

Method

1. Whisk together all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl.

2. Spoon into a 450g jar with a tight-fitting lid.

3. Close jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) before eating. Overnight oats will keep in the refrigerator for

up to 5 days.

4. When ready to serve, top with the orange slices and White’s Toasted Oats
