 - Contract:Full time. This position operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern. Week 1: Monday: 06:00 – 18:30, Tuesday: 06:00 – 18:30, Saturday: 06:00 – 18:30, Sunday: 06:00 – 18:30. Week 2: Monday: 06:00 – 18:30, Thursday: 06:00 – 18:30, Friday: 06:00 – 18:30.

Apply NowKey Responsibilities:
- Monitor production processes to ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and quality control standards;
 - Identify and resolve production issues promptly to maintain optimal efficiency and minimise downtime;
 - Train and mentor new team members, ensuring they understand safety protocols, hygiene standards, and production techniques;
 - Take ownership for achieving daily production targets, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring consistent product quality;
 - Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement;
 - Work closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Despatch teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all departments.
 
The Person:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a food manufacturing environment;
 - Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team;
 - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and product quality;
 - Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced production setting;
 - Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with other departments.
 
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices;
 - Relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent);
 - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues.
