Oat Snacks Recipes

Dark Chocolate & Pear Flapjacks

Makes 9


  • 300g White’s Organic Jumbo Oats
  • 120g maple syrup
  • 80g coconut oil, melted
  • 3 pears, peeled, de-cored & diced finely
  • Pinch of salt
  • 50g high quality dark chocolate


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease and line a square baking tin.
  2. Peel, de-core and dice pears.
  3. Melt coconut oil either on the hob in a saucepan or briefly in the microwave.
  4. Add oats, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, prepared pears and pinch of salt to a large mixing bowl and mix well.
  5. Place into the prepared tin and press down firmly.
  6. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
  7. Remove from the oven, allow to cool. Melt dark chocolate and drizzle over flapjacks.
  8. Slice into squares and enjoy!
