White's Oats

Beauty Recipes: Oat & Honey Bath Soak

Oats Honey Bath Soak

Hands up if you want silky soft skin. This oat & honey bath soak will do the trick.

Oats have been used for a long time to help sooth irritated skin or for a bit of relief for those with mild rashes and eczema, and the honey in this soak brings in antibacterial properties which along with healing the skin help clear and soften it.

I have added some bicarbonate of soda as it helps the skin detox. The dried orange and lavender adds a nice uplifting & relaxing scent but again both are optional!

About the panelist

My name is Laura Jayne and over the past 3 years along with my husband and 2 teenage boys, we have begun to be more aware of what we purchase and consume in our home.

I believe that everyone can make steps to reduce what we spend, reduce the waste we produce, look at products that have an adverse effect on our health. When we do this it will not only benefit us personally, but will ultimately impact the planet we all live on, in a positive way.

My best advice, is to start educating yourself and keep asking questions as to why we need to live cleaner and greener!
