Ingredients
- 2 medium cooking apples, peeled, quartered and chopped
- 50g demerara sugar
- 100ml apple juice
- 50g golden raisins
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch mixed spice
Method
Cook the apples and sugar to a puree over gentle heat Soak the raisins in the apple juice for an hour and then simmer with the spices Fold into the apple puree
Serving Suggestion
Serve the fruit mixtures on top of the porridge swirled with greek or natural yoghurt
