Milky porridge with sugared berries
Ingredients
115g/4oz porridge oats (Whites)
125ml/¼ pt water + 125ml milk/ or
all milk, semi-skimmed or full cream
Method
Mix together the water and milk and add the porridge oats. Mix well and bring to the boil over a gentle heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally . Remove from the heat and serve with sugared berries, toasted bananas or buttered apples
