Manchester Kashrus sees as its mission the provision of the highest possible standard of service to the Manchester Community and beyond. It is constitutionally responsible for the appointment of a Beth Din, the establishment of Mikvaois and the Burial of the Poor. Its prime function, however, is the provision of Kashrus services. This area of activity can be divided between Shechita and supervision on the one hand and the grant of Kosher approval to companies and products on
the other.
